ok with the excitement of gaming i didnt take as many pics as i would like but here is my attempt of a quick run down of how it happened

Game 1

Against toms lizardmen he has 2 block of saurus a few units of skinks, and a unit of terradons.
Quite a fair match up methinks, basically i decide i need to kill his saurus then deal with the other bits leaving my magic to deal with the flying things and maybe some lucky spear chucka shots.
my big unz destroy his saurus but my savage orcs hit a stumbling block and eventually over several turns are whittled down.
I was hoping my initial impact would do more than it did, but my dice rolling was really well below average.

Also his terradons got my artillery sorted out and were able to rock lob and totally smash down my biig unz securing the game for tom.

Game 2

Against Neils 1500 point list with a stank, my plan was to try stay away from the stank and keep it just out of charge range and then when it came into range smash it with the spear chucka's. This was working untill i miscalculated my distance and it charge the savage orcs killing over half of them on the charge. we ran and i opened up with the bolt throwers getting two hits, then yes double 1. BUGGER!
He got his stank stuck in the spear chucka's whilst at the other end i was giving some due pain and attention with my big unz.
Last turn all i had to do was charge his cannon and i was home and clear my most expensive in his zone giving me the game, but no my boyz decided to squabble and the combined shooting from the cannon and the pistolliers left me with a panic check which i promptly failed giving Neil the game.
only consolation was my squig hoppers side impacting his knights causing 2 wounds and running them off the board.

Game 3

Playing Against Tim's Mexican musician Ogres, his army looked great. but knowing he can outcharge me i play the waiting game, deploying slightly back knowing he is going to run towards me, so i get load of shooting and magic at him before he gets into charge range. I start firing off shots and start breaking down his units, i use one unit of squig hoppers to shoot through woods to cause march blocking and prep for some flank charges I charge his man eaters hoping to break them in one turn but that doenst go as planned and i get stuck in combat and then he flanks me with his ironguts,
But i smash into his middle of the army and break his general and the surrounding units.
All he his left with is the right flank which i start to break apart with magic and shooting.
Sooo could have gone wrong but i manage to get my first win and break my losing streak.

Game 4

I get drawn against ogres again, this time they have a rhinox a butcher and a hunter. but this time i have my doom diver.
I get first turn and decide to try take out the rhinox, the doom diver lands just short but with a d3 scatter i land on it causing 3 wounds.
So i fire a spear chukka at it, and take another two wounds, the other spear chukka takes a wound off an ogre.
Good start
He marches forward towards me but i have taken the fight to him.
My squigs hit the flank of an ogre unit causeing 5 wounds causing them to break, hitting the side of the unit with his general in that my big unz have just charged. This breaks his generals unit and i chase him down, This then causes the hunter and the scraplauncher to flee.
So turn 2 he has lost his main hitting power and i spend the rest of the game chasing down fleeing units and basically tidying up.
This is one of those games where once i got my battle line in place and executed it there was no coming back, Apologies for being so clinical in this game as my opponent was a nice guy but i really felt for him.

Game 5

Playing against wood elves, now i know im going to pay the price for my previous 2 wins. This was going to be a real challenge.

Luckily i get the option of first turn and fire of the doom diver at a treeman causing 2 wounds. but the spear chucks do nothing.

my squgs take the left flank hoping to smash into the dryads and do it to them before they do it to me.
He has 2 treemen and 2 units of treekin so i know they are going to hurt. so again i hold my line hoping to take some wounds off before he hits me
Turn 2 and i manage to take another 2 wounds off a treeman and another from bowfire (WIN)
my squigs hit into this right most dryads but i fluff my attacks only taking down 4 he gets loads of attacks back but fluffs also.
I win combat but he holds, not good with a un it of dryads within strike range. he charge forward kicking my squigs into touch and leaving my other squigs to counter attack throught the Dark riders which i slip through and hit the dryads.

Best Snipe shot award goes to the doom diver who aims for the wounded treeman but slightly overshoots and then with his near damn unmissible course correction lands on top of the single level 4 wizard. and kills her outright! DOUBLE WIN!

Turn 3
On the other flank i know its time to waaagh my savage orc boyz hit his dryads kicking them to the floor and over running into some horrible terrain where they spend the rest of the game. but my arrow boys both waagh off the hill where one unit hits some treekin and the other unit falls short and then fails its fear check to charge.
In the middle my general leads the biguns into a treeman and hitting the treekin, the trolls hit the unwounded treeman and the savage orcs hit the dryads.
my big uns takes the last wound from the wounded treeman my general kills a treekin champion in combat, the savage orcs kick the stuffing out of the dryads, all break except the treeman who is left in combat with the trolls whilst everyone over runs.

The dryads are in disarray after eventually seeing off the squig hoppers one unit heads back towards the main battle whilst the smaller unit tries to beat up the wolf riders and fails who then run them down.

The treeman fluffs his attacks against the trolls so i smugly check that all i have to do is one wound to win combat which is exactly what happens and mr stubborn treeman dont like his bark hurt makes like a tree and leaves, to be hacked to splinters by the trolls. The savage orcs who chop up another wood elf wizard in the over run turn to face the dryads

Knowing they have lost the dryads give one final charge and fail getting broke in the process and running off into the woods.
Another win to me.

So 5 games down and 3 wins, basically im happy so far, my army hasnt been a pushover and im happy with my progress.

I had to put up a sign pointing out the moko work i have been doing, managed to get a couple of best army votes which could possibly be a first for me.

Damn, that one slipped past me - he's not allowed 2 treemen as that's a double rare. Its in the list he sent me, I just missed it as one was in the 1500 and I thought he'd dropped it in his 1700 but on second look at what he's written he hadn't. Glad you won anyway rich - no-one seemed to notice it that played him either?

Boo, hiss, I played those two Trees.

Probably worked out well for me though, as a single Dire Wolf kept one Tree occupied the whole game- I doubt it could have harassed the fastcav or archers he would have spent the pts on otherwise.

My worst tournament ever in terms of placing. Had a really bad draw of opponents (considering how far down the tables I was) and my beastmen decided to keep on failing multiple unruly checks at the most crucial of times.
