As many of you know ive been trying to write a list and then run though a few games to improve my gaming. This is of course because of my lack of actual skils of playing! lol
So i said i would report back my games and hopefully i can learn from my mistakes!
My current list: Sorry. You have to be registered to access this content.I had such high hopes for this game! Battle with Victor, Orks Vs my Ogres.Set upSet up went well I thought, (however i think it turned out that victor countered units placement much better!) Having two Sabertusks as two units, means I can use them to delay my deployment.  Turn one  Victor had some really bad rolls with the miscasting! but things seemed to go to plan. (it was all lookin up at this point!) I don't think I advanced well enough. Many of my units could not charge in the second turn.  Following up on the 3rd turn i was not left with much. Some really bad rolling on my part, (failing to dispel L18 spell on 5 dice & that unit of bulls fleeing for a following two turns!) put me in a really bad situation. So I called it a day! Sadly this means I lost! Better luck next time. Tactics.2 Sabertusks - worked well as units for distraction, and deployment. I think however I need to be better at placing with them. These did work however, as i stopped him charging. Stonehorn - sadly I could not get him into combat, I need to be more aggressive at moving him forward! 3 Maneaters with Sniper & Poison - For 180points, These were Totally FAB! they killed the ork standard barer, and half the wounds on his wizard. Caused lots of probs! 2 Gorgers - one came on, did his job, the second diden't arrive! sucks! 2 Mournfang Cavalry - I took lots of attention and shot to bit. sadly never making it to combat... if I had 4 they could work really well. (also I need to be less scared of fanatics) Firebelly - Really good! flame weapon worked really well. helped kill his regen trolls! Slaughter master - My magic did not work for me at all! I stupidly decided to go for big spells not lots of small ones... > prob is I don't have many bull units, so I cant cast spells to help them out. or ended up out of range. Bruiser BSB - My new best friend. He worked really well, with stubborn & being a BSB. Man did this combo work well. He just holds no matter what!
