The idea is that as much of the army as possible is frenzied or otherwise unpredictable (I'd have loved to put a character in the chariot so it could be frenzied too, but I can't find a way to do it without loosing something I'm not willing to loose!). I'd try and get at least one scroll in there as its always better to be able to have at least one "VETO" lol

The wyvern dude is cool - a good trick with him is that you can hide him out of sight of enemy war machines, then call the waaagh, move out of hiding into line of sight and then charge, very good.

Savage orc boar boys are ace when you get them into combat, I'd reccommend some forest goblin spider riders to get them there but I have a feeling that goes against the fluff.

The other thing I'd suggest in the list is that I'd make the non spirit totem unit 6 models wide. Doesn't look easy to get the points for them though.

Equipment wise on the characters I'd go with the amulet of protectyness on the orc lord,

You don't really have enough magic to make the itty ring worthwhile. You can either try for the Lv2 upgrade on the other shaman, or (and this is what I'd do), drop the other guy down to a Lv1, take defensive magic items (scrolls?) on him and make the other guy another combat character instead.

I'm really stuggling with the shamans (...shamen? ) because Waaagh! Paint and Staff of Baduum are on my 'must-have' list for savage orcs - what about their arrangement below? Although it seems a shame to loose the ironback boar.

I've changed the warboss's equipment (I don't think the best basha was all that useful to him either) which has saved some points and got me the all-important Amulet.

I can't see a way to make the big'unz 6 wide except by making them not-big'us! I was kind of planning to do that eventually, but only when I can afford/have time to convert and paint more models! Are savage orc big'uns overkill?

Boar boy big unz are ace as well if you can squeeze a unit in. and they can have a banner (where as savage big unz on foot cant.

How about putting your savage orc shaman on the chariot so he has some protection, albeit a cannon target.
but it does allow you to have him rolling around shooting from his chariot rather than stuck in a combat unit.
Either way my new policy on orcs is to have the characters all mounted on boars or chariots.
the boars give a +2 save mod and the chariots aint bad as well.
(This isnt power gaming though phil, but it does add to the luck and survivability of key models!)
only thing you need to worry about though for savage orc shamans is them charging off on their own in to combat.

I think your general needs to have a bit more protection than just the charmed shield, not entirely convinced you can't do better than the gold sigil sword either.

In fact most of your characters could do with loading out a bit (or dropping if you can't find the points) - do either of those shaman even have Lv2 upgrades? If so the naked one is really a waste as you'll prob already know all the big waaagh spells from the Lv4 and the shrunken head Lv2 as the sig spell isn't particularly good. Basically unless your giving this guy a scroll I think he could be safely dropped.

The other thing I'd comment on is that your (maybe intentionally) not taking advantage of the synergy between the shrunken head and wurrzag as wurzagg is on foot and the shrunken head guy is mounted - meaning you were planning to deploy them in different units? That's certainly an option but related to this is that you dont have a unit of Big Uns? 2 points for +1WS and +1S is a bargain - then this is the unit to deploy wurzagg and the shrunken head guy in to give them 4+ ward and make sure they make it to combat (and allow them to still be S4 after the first round).

Now - purely in terms of fluff (as I'm not convinced about them in game) I would have thought that as Wurzagg turns people into squigs - there'd be some squigs in the army. Mangler, hopper or herd I'm not sure - but definitely squigs.

(BTW, I don't think Wurrzag's 5+ warpaint isn't conferred to his unit, as I think you might have been implying?)

Just looked and your right in that wurrzag doesn't enhance the ward saves of his unit on his own, in which case he DEFINITELY should be in the same unit as the shrunken head. Whether that is the boar boyz or a foot unit is up to you (wurrzag can ride a boar for 24 points).

Have you currently made 80 savage orc boyz with additional hand weapons then?

Both shamans are level 1, so that's 6 spell slots - no need to take the signature spell.

Ok - but your basically paying the extra points for the second guy (rather than just making one Lv2) when your not really gaining anything.

The troll unit could imo quite happily go down to 6 models (3 wide 2 deep) to save some points for the big un upgrade.

Have you already modelled all those savage orc boar boyz? Just I think I quite like the sound of add h w boar boy biguns - 4S5 attacks each on the charge (3 for the orc, one for the boar) with a 4+ ward save - saves the points for the shields too.
