As the UPFC get close to the end of the 4th round I was thinking is time to start working on our beloved fighters' escape.
Here's an idea I had
The gladiators’ escape
During the final match of the Ultimate Pit Fighter Championship the Quartermaster’s gladiators united and turned against their guards. Led by one of the most charismatic fighters ever seen under the Lock & Quay Inn, they were soon out in the streets of Vercuso, fighting their way to freedom. Unfortunately for them, the Quartermaster was prepared and the tolling of a hidden bell summoned all the warbands in town.
terrain
The battle is fought on a 4’x6’ board. Place a building (roughly 5”x5”) to represent the Lock & Quay Inn as shown in the diagram. Set up the rest of the board in any mutually agreed manner.
special rules
If we stay together we survive!: unless some of the conditions under the Single column, single column! special rule applies the distance between a Pit Fighter and the next one can not be more than 4”. If a Pit Fighter find himself further away than 4” from a friendly model he must try to reunite with them.
Single column, single column!: the Pit Fighters must move as fast as they can toward the edge of the table opposite to the Lock & Quay. If any Pit Fighter is march-blocked but would be able to move out of charge range from every enemy model he can take a Ld test (use the leader characteristic if possible). If passed he ignores the march-blocking model. If marching would not take the Pit Fighter out of charge range he will charge the closest enemy model.
We mortals are but shadows and dust!: The Pit Fighter band will never rout. Furthermore, every Pit Fighter can re-roll failed Fear checks and they never take All Alone tests.
Bring them to me, unarmed and unspoiled!: the warbands are trying to capture the Pit Fighter rather than kill them. A knock down or stunned Pit Fighter can be captured by a model able to take him out of action in close combat. Captured Pit Fighters move together with their captor and they can not run. If the captor is charged or taken out of action, the Pit Fighter will escape. However, he will move at half speed until coming into contact with a friendly Pit Fighter.
warbands
The Pit Fighters will deploy first anywhere within 6” of the Lock & Quay (following the If we stay together we survive! special rule). The warbands deploy following the rules for multiplayer games, but no model can start the game closer than 14” to a Pit Fighter.
starting the game
Roll a D6 for every warband leader (including the Pit Fighters) and add his Initiative. The highest scoring goes first. Games proceed clockwise around the table.
ending the game
The game last 6 turns or until all warbands have failed their rout check, whichever comes first.
If all warbands have routed the Pit Fighters win (of course). If at the end of turn 6 the number of Pit Fighters that have left the table is equal or higher to the number of killed and captured ones, the Pit Fighters win. If not, the warband that captured more Pit Fighters is the winner. In the case of a tie, the warband that captured the Pit Fighter leader wins.

+1 Survives
+1 Winning leader
+1 Per Enemy Out of Action
+1/+2 Per Captured Pit Fighter. Any hero earns +2 Experience for each Pit Fighters he captures. Henchemen earn +1 Experience. The same Pit Fighter can be captured more than once always giving Experience points.
the quartermaster’s reward
The Quartermaster will pay 15gc for every captured Pit Fighter. Furthermore the capturing warband can retain the equipment of captured Pit Fighters.
Unfortunately I can't manage to copy&paste the set-up diagram. Anyway, the building is located 6" away from one short table edge, roughly at the center of the board. The Pit Fighters must escape from the opposite short edge.
