The Plague Covenant vs The Ogresuns
Wyrdstone Hunt at the Bay of Wrecks

Just before the brake of dawn the Plague Covenant scuttled through the alleys on the outskirts of Vercuso.
When they were nearly out of town a skull brazier suddenly glowed of a ghostly green light. One of the Filthy Staves squirted the musk of fear seeing the tall, grey-haired figured covered in death symbols that was holding the brazier.
"Those grinskinned sea-scums are heading the same direction you are, Lord Skabius".
The Plague Priest ignored the falsely reverent tone of the man-thing. He knew him, Luciano Malatesta had served both Skrikit and Gangrenus.
"What d'you want, wyrd-thing?" hissed Skabius.
"I can help" and so saying Luciano stretched his hand upwards. A ghostly black replica of the Wizard's hand darted toward a seagull. As Luciano closed his fingers the bird fell at Skabius feet, well and truly dead.
"What's in for you, Malatesta?"
"I have to talk with a friend of mine who recently joined the Ogresuns" a fell grin crossed his face.

The Plague Covenant vs Odin's Black Orcs
Skirmish at the bay of Wrecks

Luciano Malatesta scratched the fresh scar left by Deffgit's dart. It was unfortunate he couldn't catch Cabouter.
So, while Skabius was recovering, he took the Covenant back to the idol of Gork where they last saw the Ogresuns. But rather than the pirate orcs, they find a small party of heavily armoured northern orcs.

Luciano sent the ratmen forward and tried to summon his magic against the Orcs' leader.

The Winds of Magic were suddenly drawn away from the Warlock. The Black Orcs had a Windcatcher, hiding in the bush behind them.

The massive greenskins lined up, beating their shields with their crude choppas and challenging the skaven to come forward.

Nearly the entire Covenant rushed forward but their weapons bunched against the orcs crude armours.

Blisterus and a Filthy Staff stood behind luring the smaller orcs away from their comrades.

The Filthy Staff was quickly delt with so Luciano tried his magic against the lonesome orc. But again the Windcatcher sucked all the magic power away from him.

Blisterus failed to brake throught the orc's armour and the young orc was unable to lend a blow on the sneaky Initiate. Realising he was too far from the rest of the Covenant and not wanting to try his luck any more, Blisterus put as much distance as he could from the yelling orc.

The combat around the idol was still going on. The skaven weapons bounching of the orcs' armours, the orcs too slow to land blows on the agile skaven.

Suddenly things changed when an orc fell to the poison of Festerus blades and the leader to Bilius' censer fumes.

In a final effort, the still standing orcs managed to knock down Festerus , but then realized numbers were against them and grudgingly fled.

Skabius sneered at the mocking tone of the Wizard and nervously hid the Liturgicus Infecticus scroll he was studying.
"We routed some northern orcs" continued Malatesta pretending he hasn't seen "and on an overturn cart we found...this!" and spread a map onto Skabius' desk.
"Rich pickings in the Osso Hills, eeh? We'll go there tomorrow, when I could lead the expedition!" growled Skabius.
Only a subtle flick from Shyish, the Wind of Death, prevented him from jumping at the man-thing throat.

The map turned out to be a fake and the only picking were two chunks of warpstone recovered from a small, deserted dwarven hold. Surely not worth an entire day searching and Malatesta was responsible for it, thought Skabius while leading the Covenant out of the hold.

Two spider poison addled goblins charged Skabius, seeking revenge for their fallen kin.

Skabius stood his ground and with the help of one of Festerus' Disciples get rid of them.

Bilius and two Filthy Staves run for the lone goblin still intent in his worshipping. Unfortunately for the little one, Mork (nor Gork) wasn't listening.

The rest of the Covenant surged forward, their blows always hitting vital spots. Surely the Horned Rat was pleased by Skabius' offer.

At this point the high-pitched screechings of the goblin chief were not enough and the gobbos run for the safety of the deeper jungle leaving a couple of warpstone chunks behind.

Emboldened by the victory, and willing to show Malatesta who really was in charge, Skabius led the pursuit.
The elusive Forest Goblins made their escape, but took the Covenant straight into an orc encampment.
Without even thinking about it, the Covenant raided it.

Later that night, Skabius was counting the copius amount of loot they had.
Things were going well, only the lowly Blisterus had been injured seriously enough to need some long rest.
And there was enough warpstone there to buy the services of a Ratogre.
The best way to watch his spiky back from Malatesta tricks.

The Storm was gathering strength, Luciano could sense it while slowly creeping through the jungle, two flea-ridden skaven in front of him.

Soon, his copy of the Book of Ibn Naggazar would have sparked to life. Unfortunately, he wasn’t ready for it. One ritual only, in that cursed book, interested him. A ritual so powerful to require the offer of a virgin from the caster own blood. For seventeen years he had kept his only daughter safe, waiting for a Storm to come. Seventeen years! And then, his own young apprentice, the trice accursed Caboteur had spoiled her.

But now, after a five years hunt, there he was. Alone, but for the dull Fishgutz idly searching the bushes.

Skabius, his newly acquired pet and a couple of the lower rat-men were wading across a stream, and didn’t manage to get to them.

Far downstream, Festerus, Blisterus and the rest of the Covenant henchmen crossed a ford and prepared to cut off Caboteur and Fishgutz’ retreat route.

Luciano harvested the Winds and his spectral Black Hand darted at Caboteur, sending him sprawling to the ground.

The Celestial wizard and the orc backed, seeking shelter into the glimmering shield summoned by Caboteur. Behind them Wyrdtoof the shaman and a huge orc rushed out of the jungle to help them.

Luciano tried his Hand again, but could not get across Caboteur’s shield. Skabius’ retinue managed to cross the river and two Staves jumped at Fishgutz and pulled him into the dirt. The rest of the Covenant changed their curse and prepared to face Wyrdtoof and the Big ‘Un.

Caboteur summoned two Wind Dervishes and sent them against Skabius and Luciano. The Plague Priest was thrown into the air and slammed to the ground. Luciano stood the fury of the elemental and tried again to clutch Caboteur’s soul in his Dark Hand. To no avail, that magical shield was powerful.

The Big ‘Un advanced menacingly towards Luciano who run behind Skabius’ ratogre. The two skaven accompanying him were sent for Caboteur. “But bring him alive to me!”

Blisterus and his Disciples jumped at Wyrdtoof who fell to the sickening effects of the Monk’s disease daggers.

The Big ‘Un turned to help the endangered Wizard, but was intercepted by Bilius and two staves.

Both the Big 'Un and Caboteur fell, but the shouting of orcs reinforcements coming from the other side of the river called the covenant attention.

Luciano readied the skaven for the charge but suddenly the greenskinns turned tail and disappeared in the jungle. When he turned to the spot where Caboteur had fallen there was no sight of his former apprentice.

“There’ll be another chance, Caboteur. There’ll be another chance” hissed Luciano.

The Plague Covenant vs The Ogresuns & Da Black Orcs o' Norsca
Jungle Fight on Mount Eritnia Plateau

With Skabius tending his wounds once more, Luciano led the Covenant to Mount Eritnia, where the swirling Winds seemed to be converging. Surely Caboteur was heading the same way.

The Celestial Wizard, hiding behind a massive Ogre on the pay of the Ogresuns rubble, was indeed there, coming from the East.

But they were not the only ones attracted by the Winds flow. The clanging of the Norscan Orcs marked their arrival from the West.

The Covenant took the initiative and half of it immediately run for the Ogresuns.

The other half, supervised by Luciano, prepared to clash with the incoming Black Orcs.

The brawl with the Ogresuns escalated in a massed combat, with fallen and countercharges on both sides.

On the West, the screaming of a madden, half-naked orc charging headlong was matched by Infectius' roar.

The fight with the Ogresuns was turning bad as the Ogre showed the orcs how to fight properly.

Things were looking grim for Infectius as well, as the rest of the armoured orcs got ready to charge the Ratogre.

It was at this point that the Storm struck. Eldritch lightining fell, the ground shook and cracked, trees started walking.

The Covenant rallied around Malatesta, the musk of fear filling the air. The old sorcerer gazed at them with disgust and waved his skull staff, creating an island of calm in the raging maelstrom.

When the Winds fury abated no orcs could be seen.
Indeed this was an unusual Storm. It had attracted greenskins on the island as quickly as it was now dispersing them.

The Plague Covenant vs the Redtoof Tribe

Rumours of a Fulcrum dubbed the Mermaid Emporium had reached Skabius. It was said warpstone was always plentiful whenever it appeared. So he took the Covenant deep inside the mountains of Sartosa to find it. When they found it, a rather strange figure was perched on top of it, making fun of everyone around. The mermaid just hissed and grinned at everyone coming too close.

The area was indeed full of warpstone, surely the reason why the Redteef were also approaching.

Blisterus took position on an high rocky formation and prepared his newly adquired bow. The rest of the Covenant advanced through the undergrowth.

Despite some minor squabbles erupting among their ranks, the Goblins advanced in two compact groups.

The Covenant advanced as one, quickly getting hold of two good sized shards of warpstone. One of Festerus' Disciples immediately backed away with some of the loot.

The two Goblin parties took shooting positions while securing a few warpstone.

Their wizard, Radu Corvin, summoned the power of the Amber Wind and turned into a feral bear.

Pustus flew back with the warpstone and joined the Disciple. Skabius grinned, Pustus' cunning really deserved him a place in the Covenant inner circle.

The Covenant advanced with caution as they were still too far to charge into the Goblin lines.

Both Skabius and Luciano tried to harness the Winds and cast their destructive spells. All their efforts achieved was tearing apart reality and let a Daemonette in. The creature gracefully dispatched the second of Festerus' Disciples.

Cheered by the unexpected help, a few Goblins manage to charge Infectius, while the rest braced their bows and threw whatever they had at hand at the skaven.

A few fell to the barrage, while Bilius and a Staff refrained from squirting the musk of fear and charged into the Daemonette.

But Skabius wrong-footed them by summoning the Horned One's pestilence. No Goblin was affected. Only the Daemonette exploded in a bright flash, leaving behind a tantalizing smell of decay.

Luciano softly cursed Skabius. He envied The Priest for his display of magical power, but mostly he hated the skaven for having left them exposed to a countercharge.

The huge spider of the Goblin Chief scythed two skaven while a bunch of goblins swarmed Skabius himself.

Rather than facing the huge arachnid, Luciano turned tail and fled.
Unsurprisngly, the Covenant followed him, the high-pitched cries of the Forest Goblins ringing in their ears.

Early that morning, Skabius had emerged from his cell nursing Skurv, his recently enchanted Rat Familiar.
"The boy brought good news! Caboteur is off to the Mermaid Emporium with the Ogresun crews, but not the officers. He's up something dealing with the Storm. We'll take on him while the big green-things are away! And from now on you shall respect Skurv as a brother in the Covenant!"

They had found the Bretonnian wizard sat atop the Emporium, holding his head in deep concentration. The Ogresuns were scattered around, patrolling the area.

Skabius sent Infectius and one of the Staves forth to silence Poxy.

The newest member of the Covenant, the Festering Pikes jumped at Throgg

Meanwhile Bilius took the remaining Staves against Skupper Lug.

The orc was quickly downed, but then Whalebelly charged in.

The other Orc pirates either run from their distant positions or braced their crossbows, but to no avail.

Festerus and his Disciples charged an incoming orc and the greenskin fell in a whirlwind of dirty blades.

Infectius was sent to face Whalebelly, but couldn't reach the Ogre.

Luciano and Poxus stood on a low hill, Caboteur in plain view from there.

The skaven arrows couldn't find their target, much to Luciano frustration. So he took a deep breath, focused on the energies that were gathering around the Emporium and harnessed the deadliest of them. Caboteur chocked and fell to his knees.

The energies he was carefully waving went suddenly out of control and a fiery portal opened at the feet of the Emporium, a bloated Plaguebearer dragging itself out of it.

The Ogresuns opened fire again, this time finding their marks.

Salty Ogbad arrived on the scene, cursing at Caboteur and the insubordinate crew, and charged headlong onto Skabius.

The Plaguebearer shumbled forward and its rusty blade made short work of Whalebelly.

Luciano didn't dare to cast another spell now that the Winds were blowing wild. He sooted Poxus instead, telling of the great honours Lord Skabius would place on him for killing Caboteur.

With greed in his eyes, the Initiate took aim and unleashead a volley of arrows. And as the Bretonnian wizard died a blue light wave erupted from the Mermaid Emporium.

After a moment of surprise, Infectius blinked his little eyes and charged the Plaguebearer. One of the Staves fell to his knees at the sight of such a glorius embodiement of pestilence.

Festerus run to help Skabius and the two skaven finally fell Salty.

Infectius clawed at the Plaguebearer and the deamon vanished in a puddle of dirt.

Leaderless and still shacken by the magical backlash, the Ogresuns fall back.

Remembering Caboteur death cry, Luciano approached the table, grabbed a piece of meet and turned to Poxus.

"That was indeed a good shot!". He never tought revenge could be as savoury as stag.

The Plague Covenant vs Odin's Black Orcs vs the Ogresuns
The Lost Prince in the jungle outside Vercuso

The Covenant tracked their quarry in the dim light of dawn.

But the fat, nervous merchant that had sent them to catch his lost son had played them a nasty trick. Both the Ogresuns and the Norscan Orcs were chasing the boy.

Skabius led the Covenant forward and nearly caught the ridicolous youngster.

The pirate Orcs rushed ahead and their Ogre slammed into Infectius.

The young man-thing tried to fled the incoming orcs but found its way blocked by the lowliest members of the Covenant.

He tried to avoid them and turned left, only to find the threatening Norscan awaiting for him.

Suddenly, the air cracked around Poxus and Blisterus as an Horror appeared from nowhere and engulfed them in sorcerous fire.

The Monk Initiates, unscated, returned fire but their arrows and stones couldn't hurt the unnatural creature.

The rest of the Covenant swarmed forward and one of Festerus' Disciples managed to catch the young man-thing.

Skabius charged Whalebelly while chanting his pestilence summoning spell.

Not far away, Skurv wispered a word of power and the blessing of the Horned Rat spread from the Plague Priest.

Fishgutz and the Ogresuns' new warlock fell, their skin bursting into sores. The pain screams of the warlock reminded Skabius of something, but he couldn't tell what.

Hungry for revenge, Deffgit himslef charged into Skabius combat, his squig hound growling and snapping at his side.

Wyrdtoof, a huge club of pure magical energy glowing in his hands, and Capsize Naz tried to break the Covenant lines and get to the man-thing.

Throgg directed the Ogresuns gunline and both Blisterus and Poxus fell under a rain of darts.

Skabius and Infectius managed to down Whalebelly, but at the same time the Shaman and his fellow orc get rid of the skaven facing them.

Then the Norscan surounded Pustus and the Festering Pikes.

As the armoured orcs nearly butchered the trio, Skabius called for a retreat. The merchant's son was not worth that much.
And most importantly, he could now blame Malatesta for having accepted the merchant's offer.
