There are a few problems with my war bands special skils, they are over balanced, maybe over powered and who knows what some of them mean! here is sum suggestions to changes:

Barbarians are never allowed to use Blackpowder weapons, not even when taking a skill that would otherwise allow them to do so. Their technical standard is too low that one of them could learn how to use such a thing. Besides those skills, each Barbarian can choose from the special Barbarian Skill list.

Current:
Experienced Fighter:
This Barbarian has proven himself a master when it comes to fight back dangers from the cave. A Barbarian with this skill will always strike first, no matter who charged.

Attack Howl:
Barbarians always use war howls when fighting each other. This Barbarian is a real master, capable of imitating the howls of wild beasts. If a warrior with this skill charges, he receives a bonus of +2 instead of the normal +1 for charging.

Master Shot:
Being an experienced hunter, a Barbarian with this skill stands head and shoulders above his comrades. He will shoot where others, less experienced, would not. When using any bow, a Barbarian with this skill may extend the range of his weapon by additional 6".

Savage Fury:
This Barbarian has proven himself really fearless and dares attacking nearly everything and everyone.
When charging, he will receive +1A in the first round of combat and is immune to Fear.

Attack Howl just made no sense. So you mean a fighter only causes fear when charging, not when charged himself is that correct?
Savage Fury - just reeks of frenzy mate doesn't it though?

However, I find the notion of Barbarians becoming experts at concealment hard to swallow, it doesn't quite fit. Conan was hardly a subtle agent!

Hmmm... here's the problem with using experimental lists from the Mordheimer site! They not only haven't been thoroughly play-tested, they don't seem to have even been proof-read sometimes! Attack Howl doesn't make any sense on the Mordheimer version: "instead of the normal +1 for charging"... +1 what? (if it means Attacks, that's 40K!).

I think there a few too many skills. Maybe drop one or two of the more confusing ones (Concealment probably - I agree with Adam!).

To be honest I haven't ever used any of the Orc skills, so it may never matter!!

Attack Howl:
Barbarians always use war howls when fighting each other. This Barbarian is a real master, capable of imitating the howls of wild beasts.
When a Barbarian charges with this skill he can call out a Lould Howl, terrifying the enemy. He Causes fear that turn.

- he then is immune from fear, (stolen from Savage Fury) and causes fear, cos well he should be feared!

Savage Fury:
- its like frenzy yes, well barbarians are like crazy people and all! - but with out the draw back as it takes up a skill??

Ive remade the ork list and changed the wording a bit.(but the same effects as ork magic!)

VooDOo Magic
VooDOo spells are used by Barbaian Shamans. They are rituals of a sort, howling prayers, clever trickery, all things any good shaman should know!

1.Howl: The Shaman’s howling invigorates the barbarian pack into a ranvenus rage. Any barbarian model within 4" of the Shaman will automatically strike first in hand-to-hand combat regardless of other circumstances. The spell only lasts until the caster is Knocked Down, Stunned or taken Out Of Action. Difficulty: 9

2.Wispers!: The Shaman gets a small doll out, and starts rambleing sweet nothings at it!. Range 8". Moves any enemy model within range D6" directly away from the Shaman. If the target collides with another model or a building, both suffer 1 S3 hit. Note: Very handy for dropping people from high buildings with. May not be cast on models in hand-to-hand combat. Difficulty: 7

3.Hack!: The Shaman gets a small doll out, and starts to hack sections off it! The Reciving end of this torcher is untraceable!. Range 12". Causes D3 S4 hits on the closest enemy target, with no armor saves allowed. Difficulty: 9

4."Im not really here": The Shaman disappears with a bright flash, confusing his enemies. No enemy may charge the Shaman during their next turn. If the Shaman is engaged in hand-to-hand combat he may immediately move 4" away. Difficulty: 6

5.Wack: A huge, Spiked wooden club appears in the hand of the Shaman. This lethal club counts as a normal club with +2 Strength bonus and gives the Shaman +1 attack as well. This spell lasts until the Shaman suffers a wound. Difficulty: 7

6.VooDoo Madness: After seeing sevearly enemy's getting two close for comfot, the Shaman gets out several small dolls, and goes mental, hacking at them all! Range 12". Each doll causes D3 S3 hits; the dolls can either be used on one close enemy target or split between the two close enemy targets. Difficulty: 8

Barbaian Warcries

Barbaian Shamans use a combination of rituals, howling Warcries, clever trickery, all things any good shaman should know!

1.Howl:
The Shaman’s howling invigorates the barbarian pack into a ranvenus rage. Any barbarian model within 4" of the Shaman will automatically strike first in hand-to-hand combat regardless of other circumstances. The spell only lasts until the caster is Knocked Down, Stunned or taken Out Of Action. Difficulty: 9
2. Taunt!:
The Shaman Shouts abuse at the emeny distracting and scarying them!. Range 8". Moves any enemy model within range D6" directly away from the Shaman. If the target collides with another model or a building, both suffer 1 S3 hit. Note: Very handy for dropping people from high buildings with. May not be cast on models in hand-to-hand combat. Difficulty: 7
3. Scream and bawl!:
The Shaman Screams a deafening sound that pieces the mind. Range 12". Causes D3 S4 hits on the closest enemy target, with no armor saves allowed. Difficulty: 9
4. Im not really here!:
The Shaman disappears with a bright flash, confusing his enemies. No enemy may charge the Shaman during their next turn. If the Shaman is engaged in hand-to-hand combat he may immediately move 4" away. Difficulty: 6
5. Wack:
A huge, Spiked wooden club appears in the hand of the Shaman. This lethal club counts as a normal club with +2 Strength bonus and gives the Shaman +1 attack as well. This spell lasts until the Shaman suffers a wound. Difficulty: 7
6. Grim Ward:
The Shaman can blow up the ground beneth the emeny model! Range 12". Each doll causes D3 S3 hits; this can either be used on one close enemy target or split between the two close enemy targets. Difficulty: 8
