So after only playing two games of the new ed of Warhammer! I think I need some help with list writing.
Last nights game vs Mike left me with about 5 ogres on the board, and all I had killed was 500pts of his!

So i wanted to make a "dream list" as I'm planning on buying some new models soon, and im just builing a Ironblaster i was given for xmas.

Think your slaughtermaster wants some kind of protection.
Greedy fist works on spells too so you'll more often see it on a death wizard so you can pick character wizards out - the hunter wont be able to specifically hit the wizard unless the wizard is on its own.

The "better" way to play ogres is to have your survivable characters in the front rank so people can't attack the squishy ogres.

Think you need a BSB too.

I've played with my thundertusk and I wasn't particularly impressed sadly.

Ironblasters are good.

Iron gut unit in combat with front rank made of fire belly, slaughtermaster and champ with stubborn crown BSB in second rank is very hard to take down and destroys everything.

Small units of gnobblars are very good diverters since they don't spread panic.

I have struggled to find a role for bigger units of bulls without characters in. (and i mean atleast 2). I have been running mine as units of 3-4 and just use them as relatively cheap drops and chaff removal. Against armies like lizardmen this is especially important. The 2400 lists of ogres i have been running have atleast 7 drops before i have to commit my main units or ironblasters.

I haven't tried the bigger things but i like them on paper.
